Parents w/ experience w/ circision in later months only please?

My son is 6 1/2 mo old and is due to have a circision on Friday. I intended to have it done at birth, but his pediatrician thought he had a foreshortened chordae, causing the to bend downward if he were to get an when he is older, which the skin from circision is the best to repair it. So, he sent me to a urologist (seeing as he was going do to undescended testicles also, which have completely descended on their own now). The Urologist thinks he won't have problems, but will stimulate an on my son when he is under for his circision, to make sure. I was wondering if there are other parents who've had a circision done on their infant in the later months and what I should expect following the circision. I'm not talking care of it, as they will tell me all that at his surgery, but how baby reacted. My son scoots backwards and rocks on his hands and knees, getting ready to crawl, so I'm wondering if this will set him back.
