If you truly do like him then be forward with him. Just say that you have enjoyed being close with him and really want to take it to the next level. If you aren't as forward just start flirting with him. Go on a date someplace fun like bowling or mini golf or the movies and start getting closer with him and being playful. He will catch on and before you know it you will be dating.
