The Arab world makes more sense to me than the West?

Maybe your more used to that kind of thing than other Americans. If someones always thought that drinking and partying is fun, then its fun. But if someone always thought sitting and talking over tea or something is fun... then thats also fun. And wars occur with countries with similar societies, like for territorial, financial, or political reasons. It wouldn't really matter about culture or customs in a war most of the time.
