Are any other UK voters scared by the thought of George Osborne as Chancellor?

If the Conservatives win the next election in 2010 George Osborn will be Chancellor of the Exchequer, yet he seems to know nothing of the economics or even of industry of any kind. He has went on record saying that he would made deep cuts like Sweden did (which saw the fall of the Swedish government). Given the fragile state of the UK economy do we really want an inexperienced man at the helm of the nations finances or will it be a case of better the devil you know with Alistair Darling or should the economist Vince Cable be put at the helm?
