If creo #'s show that MA's are undermanned...E1-E4. Why is recruiter telling me otherwise. I qualify w/ ASVAB?

my recruiter says MA's are overmanned...my father in law showed me the CREO #'s(retired flight deck commander) says they're undermanned E1-4. Why is my rrecruiter saying this...I scored well enough to do the job...I have law enforcement experience in civillian sector. ASVAB scored well on...more than enough to be an MA.????
