Is there any need for 4GB of RAM in a notebook?

It depends on what you would bu using it for. Lots of ram is great for multitasking or high end graphic gaming and having multiple windows and tabs going at the same time. I have tried 2GB and 4GB and haven't noticed a great deal of difference.
