Are there any sci fi first person shooters similar to Halo?

I know that there are quite a few sci fi first person shooters, but a lot of them seem to have only mild science fiction elements. For example, Crysis is a sci fi shooter, but it's not quite as futuristic as Halo. So I was just wondering if there are any fps' like Halo... other than Halo.

Horse back riding accident and rescue mother and child in Malibu 1991 or "92?

In 1991 I was riding on a Malibu trail with my 3yr old in the saddle, the horse saw a snake and went out of control. My daughter broke her collar bone and I sustained a ruptured liver. We were resued by a stranger, then paramedics and medivac. I had 72 units of blood transfusions. Rescue 911 came to my house an recreated the entire rescue. I have never seen the footage, don't know if it was ever aired, and don't know if it exists. Can anyone help me?

So I have an enlarged liver and spleen, which probably isn't the end of the world but I am going to do a biopsy to make sure there is no issues. I have had a small lump in my neck come and go and since my stomach pain has started 3 wks ago ( due to my liver and spleen) I have had a swollen throat. So today I find out I have thyroid issues and I have to a sonogram on that now. I am nauseous, so tired and dizzy and just want to give up and say to hell with it. Seriously what else can go wrong? ... I have two little boys and an amazing boyfriend so I am trying to keep positive for them, but I can't help thinking about the worst. I was cleaning my room one day and I discovered a nest made out of mud on the top right corner of my window. The window being slightly cracked open. I knew what a wasp's nest looks like and yet perhaps I thought this was some other flying insect's nest. In my attempt to cover it with a towel to scoop it and throw it out I broke a piece of it and two dead spiders fell out. I was in total shock. I've never seen or heard of any spiders in the North Jersey Area building a nest out of mud that looked like a small mound. I wish I could describe what the designs on the back of the spiders looked like but I was to busy eventually breaking the mound and quickly throwing it away out the window. I did try to look for it outside but to no avail. The nest was super hard. In my first attempt I wasnt able to break it. So glad you asked!! The best thing to keep a barrel horse fresh is cross-training. Once the horse knows the pattern, it is not necessary to drill him on it daily, in fact, the only time you would want to run him hard is at a competition. The more 'other stuff' you can do to keep him fit and interested, the better. I suggest lots & lots of trail riding, perhaps find another discipline that you both like and branch out to include other types of competition so that the horse does not ociate competition with running barrels every time. I've found that cow work is a good thing to consider here, like team penning and sorting. Another good way endeavor is nuisance training, this is really effective at getting a horse more broke and versatile. I hope this helps you and your horse!

we got a notice to vacate the property within seven days or they will file for an eviction.This is all due to the fact that our neighbors about seven months ago were complaining about our dog and that he barked to much and we had a disagreement. To recap, Happy marriage 18 years, out side interference, first and second separation. Now its five years since the second separation over 15 years since the bs affair and the end of March 2011, she is now over 300 miles away, very little contact yet she says,please don't divorce me, and move here you can get a place and I will stay here ( with family ). I really don't have a question, I just had to tell the story...WTF ? Oh yea, the husband sort of adopted her family as his own because he didn't have his own. Now she has created such a divide that the sudo family is ice cold to him...really WTF...? A little worried about my daughter?

my daughter is 10 days old & she sleeps right through feedings & when i try & wake her up , she'll eat 2 ounces & fall asleep again no matter what i do. should i be concerned? im trying to wake her up every 2-3 hours to feed her but, again, she doesnt want to hear it. i am feeding, but alternating nursing & pumping. when she is wide awake, she takes both bottle & perfectly, but shes only wide awake after about 4 or sometimes 5 hours of not feeding. i feel horrible when i let her go that long without feeding but she doesnt want it!! help please?? she was 9lbs 11oz when she was born, & now weighs 9lbs 10oz, (had her weighed today). thanks

Wireless Router?

My mom got a new wireless router that I am setting up for her. Set-up is Cable Modem, plus a desktop, plus the wireless router for her laptops. The desktop doesn't have a nic card (i took it and havent ever brought it back yet) however she has a linksys usb thing that converts the end of a cat5 cable into a usb.. (if that makes sense... sorry was up all night doing turkey- no sleep) Anyways that is busted and doesn't work well- and always comes lose and ends up being a disaster. SO MY QUESTION- Can I take the cable modem- and use the USB plug on the back of it and connect it to the desktop and at the same time use the cat plug in the back of it and hook that up with the wireless router? When I tried it- the laptop shows that is see's the netgear router and is connected- but can't connect to anything with the laptop. Im connected to the web w/ the desktop- so that part is working- also if i open a browser on the desktop and try to log into the router i get cannot find server

Will or How can i grow taller?

I think im a late bloomer. I don't have any facial hair yet my voice isn't that deep. Im 17 and a half and about 5'11". My dad is about 6'1" my mom is around 5'7" and don't automatically ume im going to be somewhere between 6'1" and 5'7" because my cousins (mom's side) are about 6'3" and both of their dad's were about 5'9" and there mom (my aunt by blood) is about the same size as my mom. That means my moms side is tall. And on my dad's side its mixed between 6'4"-5'10". The only thing in can think that might have effected me is i started working out around age 14 but nothing extremely heavy, i thought that it was a myth that lifting weights stunted growth, unless you were lifting really heavy stuff with your back. So statistically speaking what are the chances i will grow?

How do i know if i am stressed??????

I have been experiencing chest pain/tightness, i had an anxiety attack that made me feel like i was having a heart attack, i attended casualty had an ECG and the DR said that everything was fine. The symptoms continued and i attended my GP who told me this was down to stress. The thing is that i dont consciously feel stressed out, there is no particular event that stresses me out so i dont understand how the DR can say this. But when it happens i show the clic signs, distrubed breathing/fear/anxiety i become withdrawn etc. It just seems to come from nowhere, i get it at work sometimes however i also get it at night sometimes, totally random. Does anyone else experience this? is it stress? what is it????

I've seen them in several places, mostly truckstops along the freeway and novelty shops. I imagine they are very much antiques by now. One place I saw them was a restaurant and the owners had placed these lifelike dolls in different seats around the restaurant. I can't remember if the heads were carved out of wood or not but the bodies seem to be stuffed and they were dressed in different costumes, such as native americans, cowboys and saloon girls. They were incredibly lifelike and it was almost eerie being surrounded by them, almost twilight zone feeling. :) I would really like to find out what they were called and who the artist(s) were. Networking 3 computers 1 with xp and 2 98se + internet?

I had everything working fine until I added broadband internet to the Primary machine running xp. Now Internet works fine on all 3 computers, the other 2 computers on 98se can share folders with each other, but not with the xp machine nor xp machine with them. I have 2 nic cards one for internet and other for local network. It looks like ip #'s match up...sugestions????????

Trying to find the title of a movie?

I would be delighted if I could find a movie my Mum and I remember but no one seems to have ever seen. We both remember it was black and white and I would say late 40's - Synopsis (as we remember it) is that a woman and her husband/brother go on holiday and he goes missing, everyone pretends that they never met him or had contact with him and in the end up she finds that he has been taken to a hospital run by nuns because he has a contagious disease and the government wanted to cover it up as there is some big event coming up in the country. Many motherboards do not support more than 2 G ram even now. No bios changes will fix this. The driver disk for the board should include any inbuilt lan cards. Check in bios that they are set active. Then run the installer cd and they should load correctly.

Hydrocodone addiction?

I am a 30 year old mother who is currently raising and supporting 6 children. Yes, I have a great job, and I make alot of money, however my funds are being depleted quickly due to my addiction. I am so scared. I took 10 hydrocodone 7.5's and 6 hydrocodone 10's today. I have gotten really bad lately. I have been taking the drugs for 3-4 years now, and my addiction has never been worse. It seems that I am sick every day if I don't have the drugs, I am so jittery, and the diarrhea is the worst. When I don't have the drugs, I am jittery, in pain, and dehydrated from severe diarrhea. I am so tired of going to bed and praying that I wake up in the morning. I am the main bread winner in my household, and I can't take the time to go to a detox clinic. yeah so i have a TH-42PD25 panasonic plasma tv and now all of a sudden when im watching tv the whole screen just stays black... its not on tv video or nothing its on actual channels.. ive flipped through channels and all that and it stays black with some wavy lines going on.. ive checked the other tvs in my house and they show channels fine.. but this one wont.. then i pressed the "Search open/close" on and it shows channels but it wont show channels on the main screen... whats going on?

Can I use my GI bill after using my voc rehab?

I am currently enrolled as a full-time student under chapter 31 vocational rehab. I was told that I can not use that in conjunction with chapter 30 GI bill benefits. Is that true? Secondly, after I graduate with a bachelors degree, my ch 31 benefits will stop (6 months after graduation). Can I then use my GI bill for a masters degree. I was told different things like it is a matter of time. That there is only 48 months of entitlement. My four year degree will put me at that, not allowing me to use the GI bill. Is that true? If I re-enlist in the military, will I be entitled to a new set of benefits? If it matters I was an 18-E in the Army with two trips to Iraq and a couple of other places. if possible its best to just suck up your bad moods and get on with whatever your doing. pretending to be happy works very well if your convincing enough but often not all of us are. if you find it difficult being happy when your in a bad mood try and find things that make you happy, find cheerful or funny people and try and join in with whatever they are doing or talking about, its easy to cheer up if your open minded and willing to, you just have to go along with everyone else as long as their happy its not too hard. but if your in an especially bad mood that won't go away so easily for whatever reason, often its better to stay away from people to cool down if you don't to make them angry or sad at the same time, if you stay away from people it gives you time to think over why you are so unhappy and how you can change it.

Don't take a lot of cash, only about $50. You wont have a lot of time to spend it. Take a phone card. Wear tennis shoes. If you are going to use skilled dark magician, then you will need to have some decent normal spells. Relinquished is good, but not the best choice. If you use dark magician make sure you have a good equip card and a card that can destroy spells and traps. that combo is for diffusion wave motion if you can get that card. Shadow spell , draining shield, swords of revealing light, magic cylinder, dust tornado, mystical space typhoon, and sakaretsu, and scrap iron are all good to have. I don't believe that I have to be completely perfect in order to get to Heaven, but yes, I've certainly had the feeling you're describing (not being good enough). I know that I've fallen short of the mark. I don't know that perpetual insecurity is necessarily tied in with Christianity, though, because I have a depressive Pagan friend who harbors a very deep sense of not being good enough, too. In my own case, growing up being constantly told that I was a sinner may probably had something to do with my own guilt complex (my mother often told me that I was a walking symbol of sin, because she believed that was sinful even in marriage), but I'm not half as haunted by it as I was when I was a kid. I like to take a positive outlook on life.
